This robust setup uses a North American Charging Standard (NACS) connector and is capable of fully charging a 600-kWh Class 8 heavy-duty battery electric commercial vehicle overnight.
This solution is particularly advantageous in regions like California, where the demand for Level 3 DC fast chargers is high, often resulting in extended wait times and significant costs for installation. With CSI's 40kW EVSE and On-Board Charger Combo, fleets operating within a 300-mile range can achieve full overnight charging using standard outlets, offering a practical and cost-effective alternative to DC fast charging infrastructure.
