Soft N Dry Diapers Corp. has announced the release of its innovative Tree Free diapers in California, made available through its white label partner, ecoSoft Diapers & Materials LLC. This new product launch is aimed at retailers seeking to provide their customers with eco-friendly baby diaper options that minimize environmental impact.
The ecoSoft disposable diaper brand distinguishes itself by offering unmatched softness and dryness while eliminating the use of tree fiber. Approximately 10 million trees are used globally each year in the production of disposable baby diapers. ecoSoft’s launch in California, which has a population of over 39 million and is one of the world’s largest economies, represents a pivotal moment for the brand. The state is known for setting trends in eco-friendly products and influencing national retail standards.
ecoSoft uses what they call ecoFlex Core Technology to replace traditional tree fiber in their diapers with “advanced synthetic materials.” These materials reportedly reduce substantially the environmental impact of disposable diapers as they biodegrade more quickly than other products, aligning with eco-friendly consumer demands.
Matthew Keddy, CEO of Soft N Dry, expressed enthusiasm for ecoSoft’s entry into the Californian market. The company's goal is to capture market share in the emerging "Tree Free Diaper" category, part of the $60 billion disposable baby diaper market. He highlighted the potential benefits of their materials, which offer improved dryness and comfort while providing cost savings to parents. Keddy also urged California legislators to consider regulations similar to the European Union's Deforestation-Free Regulation, set to take effect in 2025, to further reduce tree usage in diaper production.
