The event also celebrates the retirement of longtime President & CEO Dave Wells and introduces incoming CEO Dr. DeWayne Cuffie.
Reclaimed 2025 puts circular fashion front and center. All runway garments will be sourced from Alabama Goodwill’s retail operations—demonstrating how resale and reuse can extend the life of clothing, reduce landfill impact, and support local jobs.
“Reclaimed is more than a fashion show—it’s a celebration of second chances, creativity, and community,” said Dr. DeWayne Cuffie, incoming President & CEO of Alabama Goodwill. “Every piece on the runway tells a story, just like every life touched by Goodwill’s mission.”
The show will feature designs by Daniel Grier of Splashed by DKG, alongside local upcycle designers and stylists from within the Goodwill team. Models include students, nonprofit professionals, and Goodwill employees—reflecting the organization’s emphasis on inclusion and opportunity.
Proceeds from Reclaimed 2025 directly support Alabama Goodwill’s year-round workforce initiatives, which include:
Over 80% of revenue from Alabama Goodwill’s retail stores is reinvested into programs that help individuals across the state secure sustainable employment.
“Donations help build our local workforce,” said outgoing CEO Dave Wells. “This event is a celebration of that transformation—of what can be reclaimed, repurposed, and reinvested into the future of Alabama.”
Corporate and foundation sponsors can support Alabama Goodwill through tiered packages that include event recognition, community visibility, and employee engagement opportunities. Sponsorship levels range from the $5,000 Legacy Reclaimed package to a $100 community-level contribution—each reinforcing environmental stewardship and social impact.
Sponsors receive benefits such as VIP access, visibility across digital and print platforms, and dedicated mentions in event programming.
The event will also debut the “Not Today, Landfill” campaign—a visual reminder that sustainable fashion choices can drive community transformation.
