ENVEA Unveils OPM250 Optical Analyzer for Air Quality Monitoring

Next-gen spectrometer delivers real-time, accurate particulate analysis

Posted

ENVEA has introduced the OPM250, a new optical aerosol spectrometer engineered to deliver high-precision, real-time particulate monitoring. Designed for a range of environmental and industrial applications, the OPM250 enables organizations to improve air quality assessments with greater accuracy and operational efficiency.

Advanced Aerosol Analysis Technology

At the core of the OPM250 is its advanced optical measurement system, capable of detecting particles across a broad range—from 0.178µm to 29.4µm. Unlike conventional systems that rely on statistical sampling, the OPM250 counts 100% of particles in real time, ensuring a more accurate and comprehensive dataset.

This level of precision allows for improved monitoring of particulate matter such as PM10 and PM2.5, critical for both regulatory compliance and environmental management. The device is TÜV-certified with QAL1 qualification, validating its performance in line with stringent air quality standards.

Versatile and Cost-Efficient Design

The OPM250 combines technical performance with practical operational features. It operates at a flow rate of 1.2 L/min and is engineered for low power consumption, supporting cost-effective deployment in long-term monitoring scenarios. Its integrated air purification system reduces the need for frequent maintenance, helping to lower ongoing operational costs.

Built for flexibility, the analyzer is robust enough to withstand vibrations and outdoor conditions, making it suitable for both stationary installations and mobile deployments such as vehicle-mounted air quality stations. Its intuitive interface and compatibility with multiple communication protocols support streamlined integration with existing monitoring infrastructure.

Meeting Cross-Industry Environmental Demands

As global industries face increasing pressure to meet environmental compliance targets, the OPM250 offers valuable support across multiple sectors. Government agencies and environmental regulators can use the device for public health risk assessment, while industries such as manufacturing, energy, and transportation can track emissions and improve sustainability metrics.

Academic and research institutions also benefit from the analyzer’s detailed data outputs, which support a wide range of air quality studies and environmental research initiatives. Its precision and ease of use make it a reliable choice for both scientific and operational applications.
