Corporate renewable energy procurement has grown dramatically over the past decade. But the systems used to manage these portfolios after signing — tracking performance, validating settlements, forecasting exposure — haven't kept up.
The result is the "PPA management gap": a widening mismatch between portfolio complexity and management infrastructure that is creating real financial exposure for corporate energy buyers.
"As portfolios grow more complex, spanning multiple markets, technologies, and stakeholders, organizations are increasingly exposed to financial risk, performance blind spots, and fragmented data."
Verdantix / Verse webinar descriptionVerse and Verdantix are co-hosting a webinar with E+E Leader to share what the data shows — and what the organizations closing this gap are doing differently.
What the Verdantix research covers
Drawing on proprietary survey data and enterprise case studies, Ryan Skinner, Research Director at Verdantix will present findings across four key areas:
The session will also address why traditional approaches — spreadsheets, consultant-led oversight, and add-on platform modules — are no longer sufficient for the scale and complexity of modern renewable energy portfolios, and what purpose-built infrastructure makes possible instead.
