Operations shift gears with electric forklifts and other powered industrial trucks

Supply chains are a prime focus for businesses as they pay closer attention to their environmental impact. A recent survey quantifies supply chain sustainability trends and examines how companies are approaching the shift to electric powered industrial trucks (PIT) – a category that includes equipment like forklifts and container handlers – as part of their sustainability strategy.

The survey by Hyster Company and Peerless Research Group included input from more than 130 respondents in transportation, storage and distribution, inventory and logistics.
